I went down to visit the set of CRAWLSPACE, Justin Dix’s debut sci-fi thriller, just before it wrapped.

Justin was calm and loving it, and the producer John Finemore was very happy with results. An early cut of a trailer looks incredible.  Justin is a big on practical FX, so without any post, already the trailer looked cool.

CRAWLSPACE is set beneath Pine Gap, the joint US-Australian military facility in Northern Territory, and is the first feature film set at one of the most secretive places in Australia. I’ve read the script and Justin has got lots of twists and surprises for even the most jaded sci-fi fans.

Greg McClean is EP, and for my early work with Justin on project development, I get an Associate Producer credit. I can’t wait to see the first cuts and I reckon Justin will have a hit on his hands.
