The principal backer for Inventive Entertainment and a shining example to other state governments, BusinessACT has take the step of granting additional travel funds for market attendance. BusinessACT has already provided Proof of Concept and Commericalisation grants as part of the visionary Knowledge Fund programme. After four years of development, hundreds of volunteers and thousands of hours of effort, the four television projects on the Inventive Slate are finally being exposed to world opinion in the tough arena of MIPCOM.

Securing European and other interest in the projects is an essential part of the business model whereby multiple pre-sales in different territories enable larger budgets than previously possible on Australian Network sales alone. The bigger budgets are needed to tell the more imaginative science-fiction and fantasy stories that Inventive hopes will crack international markets.
